this was an old trekking bicycle extremely ugly and conservative. The frame was black and relatively good quality from Radon. I removed all the paint to leave the aluminium with its natural colour and finished it only with a transparent primer and a transparent lack. I found these rims from VUELTA which were rather eccentric and matched them with the tyres from Champion (Strata Blanca) which I found wonderful. The cranks still need a pimping but I tried to keep the cost reasonably low. Have ridden a few long range tours. Getting ready for the next make over: BATAVUS Champion from 1984.
