How was the bike at first and where did you find it?

I purchased the frameset from Christian (cskrill) just over a couple of years ago. The original owner was Patrick, PEDAL Consumption himself. I received the frame in ridden condition with only cosmetic issues, yet tastefully littered with stickers.

What usage did you build it for?

To MASH! But really, the exhilaration of a brakeless fixed gear bicycle in an urban setting is addicting. Whether it’s a quick commute or a long sunday joy ride, this bike satisfies.

Could you tell us how did you build it?

The Kagero is a continuous project, always upgrading and swapping parts. A recent upgrade has been the wheelset. I had the pleasure of working with the Sr Design Engineer at Rolf Prima to build my Vigor FX wheelset as a part of my senior project. Stripping the frame of paint with chemicals has been another recent alteration.

Is there any new build you're working on?

I have a Lemond Poprad cross bike that has been in the works. Other than that I plan on eventually repainting the Kagero. Since the frame design was inspired by 90’s era Cannondale track frames, my vision is to mimic one of the original color schemes of the Cannondale track with a modern influence.
